Writer
I lived in Suginami when I was a kid. I don’t claim to understand Japanese aesthetic sensibilities. My goal is to communicate information clearly to people all over the world. I might not write like other writers, but I’ll make sure to deliver content that’s genuinely engaging, in my own way.Of course, while respecting the concept of Emptytimes.
Ryuki Yamashiro
Born and raised in Suginami. I love coffee, books, and anime. I would be happy if people could get to know the “everyday life” of this town where I grew up, and experience Japanese culture from various perspectives.
My hobbies are walking and saunas, and the things I dislike are worrying and haunted houses. Joining the Empty Time group has made me realize how interesting Asagaya is, and at the same time, I feel excited about the unknown experiences ahead. Since I have this opportunity, I’d like to write about the beautiful aspects of Japan from my perspective, in my own way. I hope that through Empty Time, I can leave something memorable in your hearts.

I work in the healthcare field and live my life following my heart. My connection to Asagaya comes through a café I often visit, and I enjoy exploring the area around Asagaya Station.
I have lived in Suginami Ward since childhood. I love cats and books. Through Empty Times, I strive to help people discover the charm of Asagaya.
I’m taking a walk, taking photos, and reading a book at a café. I hope I can gather and share the overlooked, everyday fragments of the city—the shining little pieces I feel with my skin.
